Track: Jaguar 14 April

The track team, for the most part, trained through this week with a handful of athletes competing at the Jaguar Invite at Valley Center High School .  At Jaguar, Victoria Perez scored a Personal Record in the Discus Throw with a heave of 113 feet 2 inches which earned her 5th place overall in a pretty good field. She placed 11th overall in the shot put with a toss of 32 feet 6 inches.  For the league in which we compete, the City League, those are the top throws in both events. The other competitors at Jaguar were Brad Busby and Danny Mineo in the 3200. Busby's time of 10:21.65 earned him the sixth-place medal with Mineo coming in twelfth with a time of 10:58.05.
